What is IVF ?
IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization. “ In vitro” means “in glass” this means fertilization process is taking place in a glass dish in the laboratory. Inability to conceive a baby is called as infertility. Infertility may be done to a certain problem in both men and human. IVF is the treatment for fertility problems.
How is IVF Treatment done ?
IVF procedure is done outside the women's body. In this process, Men's sperm sample is collected. These sperm samples are fertilized with women's egg in the laboratory. These eggs are surgically removed from women's ovaries. Later the fertilized egg called as an embryo is surgically implanted to women's womb to develop after 6 or 7 days.

When is IVF Treatment done ?
IVF is not the only solution for infertility treatment. But we can say IVF is one of the best treatment of fertility problems.
IVF treatment is done for several reasons,
Damaged fallopian tubes or blocked fallopian tubes in women's body
Fallopian tubes are the passage which carries eggs from the ovary to the uterus in women's body. When there is a damage in fallopian tubes this can prevent eggs from moving ovaries to the uterus. In this case, IVF Treatment is preferred
Low sperm count
Low sperm can cause the inability of sperm movement in a fallopian tube. This will result in infertility. In IVF treatment sperm samples are collected from a male body is directly fertilized with female egg in the laboratory.
If women are suffering from endometriosis problems. Endometriosis is one of the biggest causes of infertility. about 40% of women who are diagnosed with endometriosis experience problems conceiving.
