Kamini A. Rao

Dr.
Kamini A. Rao, the Founder and Medical Director of Milann founded in
1989, is a pioneer in the field of Reproductive Medicine in India.
Across her distinguished clinical and research career in reproductive
medicine, Dr. Kamini Rao specialized in reproductive endocrinology,
ovarian physiology and assisted reproductive technology.
Among
her early contributions to the field are the establishment of South
India's first semen bank, India's first SIFT baby and South India's
first babies born through ICSI (Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection) as
well as through Laser Assisted Hatching. Across a clinical and
research career spanning three decades, Dr. Kamini Rao has taught and
trained hundreds of fertility specialists and has served as a beacon
of hope to thousands of infertile couples.
After
training in fertility and medicine in the United Kingdom, Dr. Kamini
Rao returned to India in 1989 to set up the Bangalore Assisted
Conception Centre, now known as Milann - The Fertility Center.

Sandeep (Sonu) Talwar, the Clinical Director of Milann, Delhi, is a
leading infertility specialist in the city with over 20 years of
experience in virtually all facets of the diverse field of
infertility.
Clinical
and research career span of over two decades, Dr. Talwar has been
actively involved in teaching DNB students and training Fellows in
Infertility and Reproductive medicine. She has been a beacon of hope
to thousands of infertile couples.
Among
the many awards that she has won in her 20-year career, are the
Appreciation Award by FOGSI for two consecutive years in 2003 and
2004, and the Academic Excellence Award by the Delhi Medical
Association in 2013.
The
focus of her research work is in the areas of management of recurrent
implantation failure.
Dr.
Divyashree P. S. - Reproductive Medicine Specialist

Dr.
Divyashree is a specialist in Reproductive Medicine at Milann. Her
areas of interest lie in reproductive endocrinology and advanced 3Add captionD
ultrasound in gynecology, with special interest in poor responders
and recurrent implantation failures.
Dr.
Divyashree is a member of key professional associations such as ISAR,
KISAR and Bangalore Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves
as the Assistant Resident Editor of IJIFM (International Journal of
Infertility and Fetal Medicine) and Assistant Editor for The
Principles and Practice of ART (Atlas of Human Embryology) and
Handbook of Gynecological. She has also presented papers at various
national conferences.
Dr.
Divyashree received her MS (OBG) from Kasturba Medical College,
Manipal, where she received the Dr. P. Amini Memorial Award for the
'Best Outgoing Student'. She has also completed her DNB (OBG) and has
been awarded her FNB (Fellowship of National Board) in Reproductive
Medicine from the NBE.

Sunitha Mahesh – High Risk Obstetrics Specialist

Dr.
Sunitha Mahesh is a specialist in high-risk obstetrics at Milann. Her
areas of interest include managing high-risk pregnancies and
conceptions through Artificial Reproductive Techniques. She is a
member of BSOG and has participated in media, providing expert
opinion regarding her medical specialty and medico-legal issues
involved.
She
received her DGO from M S Ramaiah Medical College, DNB and has
received her FFMM (Fellowship in Feto-Maternal Medicine) from Rajiv
Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She has also completed her
Postgraduate Diploma in Ultra-Sonography from Karnataka State Open
University.

academic avenues like authoring sections in infertility-related
books.
Dr.
Arveen Vohra received her MS (OBG) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical
College, Belgaum, where she was a gold medalist, and her FRM
(Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine) from Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences. She has also worked in AIIMS, New Delhi and in the
UK during her career.

Hemavathi Srinivasan is a specialist in high-risk obstetrics and
pregnancy at Milann. She has over 11 years of experience and has been
a part of Milann since February 2015.

and has completed her FFMM (Fellowship in Feto-Maternal Medicine)

Milann's second centre was established in J P Nagar, Bangalore in 2007. In 2014, the facilities were upgraded to a new centre with state-of-the-art modular embryology laboratory, andrology laboratory, endoscopy OT, labor room, NICU and IVF OT.
