Fertility clinics in Bangalore (India) is becoming an emerging destination for assisted reproduction procedures. An IVF cycle can be carried out at almost 1/10th of the price as compared to a typical hospital in US.
The prices are (as quoted to us), during the month of June 2016, and includes all charges. The charges vary across different centers mainly depending on the post and pre operating procedures in a normal IVF/IUI cycle.
Some specialists operate across multiple hospitals/clinics, and even for the same IUI/IVF specialist, the price can vary a lot. I have observed prices are almost 50 % lower in smaller clinics, but cost should not be criteria for selection, the doctor and the facilities should stand first. 1. Milann - [ Formerly BAAC ( Bangalore Assisted Conception Center ) ]
Dr. Kamini A. Rao ( Medical Director ) is one of the senior most fertility specialists in Bangalore. She is one of the few doctors in India and the only one from Bangalore currently involved in drafting a bill for improving assisted reproductive procedures in India.
2. Milann - [ Shivananda ]
Milann was conceived at Shivananda Circle, Bangalore in 1989 as the Bangalore Assisted Conception Centre (BACC). The facility includes state-of-the-art embryology laboratory, andrology laboratory, endoscopy OT, IVF OT, labor room, inpatient rooms, as well as a NICU managed by an expert team of neonatologists. The centre also houses Milann's in-house molecular diagnostics laboratories.
3. Milann - [ J P Nagar ]
Milann's second centre was established in J P Nagar, Bangalore in 2007. In 2014, the facilities were upgraded to a new centre with state-of-the-art modular embryology laboratory, andrology laboratory, endoscopy OT, labor room, NICU and IVF OT.
Milann MSR is our fourth centre in Bangalore, which is based inside the M S Ramaiah Medical Campus and commenced operation in 2015. The services offered including ultrasound, andrology and IVF related services. The centre has six day care beds with a state-of-the-art endoscopy and IVF OT. With a team of three full-time specialists and two embryologists, Milann MSR achieved successful outcomes with its first IUI and its first IVF patient in the very first month of its operation.
